Concerned, Seeking Feedback Please
Thanks for your reply =)
No swollen lymph nodes as far as I can tell. However all my other symptoms -put together- can be found under Lymphoma. There is one type where breast lumps are present.
My husband made me promise to call today and bump up my appmt because of my breathing issues.
Lymphoma symptoms will fit most any disease that is why it is so hard to diagnose. I would be by far concerned about the breathing problems so a pulmonologist would be your best bet. Good luck!
Absolutely call.
What are you waiting for?
Your symptoms could be many many things.
It is better to know, then to speculate.
I , also, had symptoms which took 6 monthes to DX, when in the beginning, I researched....and KNEW, that I had lymphoma, which I do...
I was prepared to deal with it mentally, as well as physically. Why be blindsided, and naive about something which can be controlled?
Please call. NOW.
Hello MTGirl,So sorry yor dealing all this.As Rascal and Geri said this could be many things. So Try and slow down a bit.I actually was in my last 30's had gotten a severe cold where one of my nodes never went down.It remained there well over a yr before I went and had it removed on my own.Funny i had the itching and fatigue and just thought it was life whatever, never put the two together. One thing that did happen after biopsy was I was losing weight and my white count was high. You can read our stories in the Who We Are thread.Everyone is different.I never liked the needle biopsy as too many false negs.,so I requested the whole node be removed.Good luck keep us posted.
Thank you all for your support! My husband and i were talking and we agreed that all the symptoms I'm having could be just a random bunch of stuff going on with me; but when you figure in the breast lump + the symptoms I keep coming up with lymphoma. And the lump is pronounced so I'm going to request it to be removed and I'm hoping (since I'm self-pay) I can ask them to also maybe check/test for lymphoma at the same time ... since they will be doing xrays/scans/biopsys and such anyway for the lump.
Good luck and keep us posted. You will feel better after the tests are done and you know.

Hi there so sorry you are feeling so ill and scared. You have come to a great site for support and opinions however we only can go by what we have exoerienced and seen before so anything I may say should be followed up with a physicians appt. to varify a diagnosis. A breast lump that doesn't go away should always be checked out, a diagnosis of a cyst would be wonderful. But at least then you would know. You talk about having a lymph node biopsy but don't tell us that you have any swollen nodes that are progressing. Keep in mind that because or your upper respiratory issues you may have lymph nodes that you can feel up on the back of your head at the base and also towards the front. They are our infection filters. The fact that you are short of breath could be from your pleurisy or from your heart. Without a physician seeing you they won't know if your lungs are filling with fluid from say congestive heart failure or if you have issues that a pulmonary MD should look at. Urgent cares are good for when you can't get in to see a specialist for this but their experience is not geared to your needs. If it were me I would go to the Pulmonary specialist, a chest x-ray would show anything filling up in the lungs. He can adjust medications for asthma and find out why you can't breath. If you are having any swelling in your lower legs or rapidly gaining weight things aren't pumping like they should and should be checked out. At any rate TODAY call and make an appt. with a specialist to get the breathing checked out. I sure hope this helped...I understand the fears of not having insurance but when it is your life you can't worry about money, that comes later. Good luck and keep us posted.
Sending hugs and prayers your way for strength.
