What to do now?

Posted in Group:

I am a Stage IV breast cancer survivor, and at this point the metastasis in my liver has become very active once again (after over a year of relative stability). I am being told I need to go back on chemo (I had a wicked regimen of Taxol a couple of years ago). Can those with any experience with this kind of situation provide feedback of what choice(s) were made? I am advised by my onco to begin a Xeloda protocol. Or any experience with Gemzar or Adriamycin? I feel I don't wish to go this route, but do I have any other options? Thanks for any responses. BB
